About me

Lenka Balážovičová is a lecturer at the Department of Geography, Geology and Landscape Ecology at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. She specializes in physical geography, hydrology, and climatology, with a focus on snow cover dynamics in the Carpathian Mountains, urban flooding, and sustainable urban drainage systems. She coordinates the Copernicus Academy and Erasmus+ programs at the university, promoting the integration of satellite data into secondary geography education.
