The company's first minimum viable product (MVP) is the micro-10, a 10 kWe oil-free flameless combustion microturbine designed for combined heat and power (CHP) applications. The micro-10 incorporates MITIS's patented flameless combustion technology, enabling it to burn various fuels—whether fossil, neutral, or carbon-free—with extremely low NOx emissions. The compact rotor, also patented, is supported by air bearings developed in-house, allowing the microturbine to achieve high rotational speeds of 100,000 RPM without the need for oil lubrication. This design ensures extended maintenance intervals and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). This microturbine is ideal for environments requiring substantial heat and/or domestic hot water, such as nursing homes, swimming pools, hotels, spas, and multi-residential buildings. It also serves agricultural sectors, wastewater treatment facilities, and landfill sites, where it can directly utilize raw biogas. The micro-10 is currently undergoing certification and is scheduled for release in 2025.
