Sico Technology is an internationally active specialist in the processing of silicon, quartz and ceramics for the semiconductor industry. Among other things, the company has succeeded in developing a silicon injector for semiconductor production that is made from high-purity silicon. This silicon injector has the advantage that it does not have to be replaced every day, but can remain in use for up to three months without particles being deposited. For customers in the semiconductor industry, this results in two decisive advantages: The furnace can remain in operation for these three months without downtime and the development of disruptive particles is demonstrably minimized, which allows chip yields to be massively increased.
