Stalowa Wola Regional Development Agency Ltd.

The main objective of the Stalowa Wola Regional Development Agency (StARR) is to support the long-term economic growth of the Stalowa Wola region, focusing on supporting innovation, attracting investments, and creating an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and international cooperation.

The Agency is also strongly engaged in building favourable conditions for dynamic space-defence industry development in the region, is focused on supporting the development of existing defense industry companies in Stalowa Wola and closely cooperates with technical universities in R&D projects.

Presently it is running the SPACE 4 TALENTS project, cofinanced of the European Urban Initiative – Innovative Actions aimed at creating a model for attracting and retaining talents in cities losing their socio-economic functions, such as Stalowa Wola, through the development of the space industry.

• Effective management of external funds: Coordinating projects co-financed from European funds and other sources.

• Integration of local stakeholders: Creating a platform for cooperation between entrepreneurs, local government, universities, and NGOs.

• Strengthening endogenous potential: Developing areas that are the natural advantage of the region (e.g., natural resources, human capital, economic traditions).
