MaPEB: Towards Circular Biocatalysis

As environmental challenges like persistent plastic and chemical pollution escalate, industrial chemistry is entering a phase where sustainable, closed-loop solutions are absolutely essential. Circular biocatalysis is emerging as a powerful answer. This session discusses enzyme-based technologies that serve as drivers for a sustainable bioeconomy by enabling both the environmentally compatible degradation of complex molecules and the efficient synthesis of chemicals from renewable resources.
