MaPEB: China-Europe Cooperation - Challenges & Opportunities

The challenges for our planet cannot be solved by one country alone. Scientists across the world need to join their efforts and address together developments like the dramatic increase of plastic pollution and the reduction of carbon dioxide pollutions. Successful coop-eration, however, needs to take into account political approaches and economic situations in different parts of the world. How can we create successful scientific exchange and coopera-tion in a world where economic and knowledge barriers are gaining importance? The session will present successful examples how emerging challenges are approached in cooperative projects between Chinese and European Scientists.
