CICYTEX

The Extremadura Centre for Scientific and Technological Research (CICYTEX) is a public-law body with financial, organisational and operational autonomy, under the Regional Government of Extremadura, attached to the Department of Education, Science and Vocational Training. It comprises the ‘La Orden-Valdesequera’ Institute of Agricultural Research, the Extremadura Agri-Food Technology Institute (INTAEX), the Institute of Cork, Wood and Charcoal (ICMC) and, more recently, the Centre for Organic and Mountain Agriculture (CAEM).
