The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence for Industry

AI4I is a non-profit national research institute dedicated to applied research in Artificial Intelligence for industrial systems.

The institute develops AI-driven technologies for real-world applications, with particular focus on Physical AI, autonomous physical systems, and intelligent infrastructures, areas that are increasingly central to robotics and advanced automation.

AI4I works in close collaboration with industrial partners, research organizations, and public institutions, supporting technology transfer and contributing to national and European research initiatives.

Research activities span multiple domains, including AI-enabled software systems, data-intensive platforms, and autonomous systems, and are supported by advanced computational resources, including AI4I’s HPC facility (NVIDIA B200 and H200 GPUs) and access to national supercomputing infrastructures such as CINECA.
