FAIROS: FDO FAIR Assessment

About
FAIROs (FAIR Research Object assessment framework) is a tool designed to evaluate the FAIRness of FDOs (FAIR Digital Objects). , These FDOs include software, datasets, semantic artefacts and research objects (and aggregation of them).
The tool works by identifying the different resources that make up a Research Object and applying appropriate FAIR assessment methods to each of them. FAIROs integrates existing FAIR evaluation tools that are specialized for particular resource types. For example, F-UJI for datasets, FOOPS for semantic artefacts and RSFC for software The individual assessments are then aggregated using defined scoring strategies to produce FAIRness scores, as well as explainable results.
The tool is transitioning to a machine actionable results format defined by the OSTRAILS project, enabling compatibility with other existing assessment tools.
