The EOSC Federation Data Lake pilot
Computing Fellow at CERN EOSC Node
Geneva, Switzerland
About
The EOSC Federation will be composed of several nodes.
It will be fundamental to properly distribute, manage and expose scientific data, according to the FAIR principles, and complying with the embargo policies of the communities involved.
Rucio is an open-source scientific data management system created at CERN to handle the exa-scale data needs of modern scientific communities. Built on more than a decade of experience, its key features are to organise, access, transfer, monitor and recover large volumes of data spread across heterogeneous storage systems in globally distributed locations.
We are looking for organizations or nodes willing to contribute storage to build the Data Lake pilot!
