Our main activities at the FIEK Research, Development, and Innovation Management Department include:

Innovation Synchronization and Coordination: We harmonize and coordinate the research and innovation activities at the University of Miskolc, ensuring that they contribute effectively to overall development.

Promotion of Research and Development Results: We showcase and disseminate the research and development outcomes of the University of Miskolc, facilitating their practical application and utilization.

Development of External Partner Relationships: We establish research, development, and innovation collaborations with external partners, generating projects and creating new opportunities.

Management of Intellectual Property: We manage institutional intellectual property, promoting the sale and market utilization of our intellectual creations within appropriate frameworks and data reporting obligations.

Knowledge Map and Business Utilization: We create and regularly update a university knowledge map to make research, development, and innovation services and outcomes easily accessible, encouraging active use by our business partners through competency platforms.

Innovation and Research Management Training: We participate in organizing innovation and research management training for the university's instructors and researchers. Furthermore, we support our students in the fields of innovation and start-up businesses by incubating and managing them, while also coordinating the financial instruments of the Proof of Concept Fund.

R&D Grant Information Hub: We establish an information hub for domestic and international R&D grant opportunities to inform all interested parties about the latest possibilities and information.
