Welcome to the ENLIGHT Matchmaking Event and the ENLIGHT matchmaking platform

The ENLIGHT matchmaking platform brings together researchers and R&I support office people from all ten of ENLIGHT partner universities.

The ENLIGHT Matchmaking Event will take place in two ways.

  • First, there is this matchmaking platform where you are on now. Here you can look for other researchers who are working in your focus area (above menu - Participants) and contact them if you are interested, go through potential cooperation opportunities (Funding and cooperation opportunities) and find new funding calls. And you can also add your own cooperation opportunities ideas and needs to the Funding and cooperation opportunities section. This platform will be open until the end of the project. You can learn about setting up meetings and finding partners in the FAQ section.

  • Second part is the live ENLIGHT Matchmaking Event happening 29.04.2024 - 30.04.2024. You can find the timetable for this event below and the links to the presentations are also in your calendar on this platform - all in one place.

ENLIGHT RISE (Research and Innovation agenda with and for Society)

ENLIGHT is a European University alliance of ten comprehensive, research-intensive universities from ten European countries (Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland), training over 300,000 learners per year and sharing a deep commitment to social responsibility.

ENLIGHT RISE (Research and Innovation agenda with and for Society) seeks to strengthen the research and innovation dimension of our network. In synergy with ENLIGHT’s educational components and surrounding ecosystems, it will deploy a comprehensive joint transformation agenda for our universities. The project has been awarded funding in the Horizon 2020 "Science with & for Society" SwafS call for European Universities.

The objective is to become more competitive and innovative together, leveraging and synergising our respective strengths and capitalising on our innovation potential as well as the partnerships in our surrounding ecosystems to promote a greener, healthier, more equitable and sustainable Europe.

The ENLIGHT Research & Innovation Observatory is a comprehensive platform of information presenting the research and innovation capacities of, and synergies between the nine ENLIGHT universities. It also collates a variety of outputs from the Alliance development related to R&I.

Are you looking for any research and innovation expertise available within the ENLIGHT alliance? Below you can easily find the relevant information with regard to the research carried out at each institution.
