About me
I spent my youth growing up on a farm with the exception of the two years I lived in Mozambique with my family. In 2013, I came back to Africa and lived in Gambia for a while and I’ve also lived in the US. I’m a global traveler about to reach 100 countries and I've been doing business in basically all corners of the world.
During my University studies I realized that I'm a good problem solver, and accordingly my first job was to set up and run a business. Ever since my first job, I've built a strong identity as an entrepreneur. I've had my ups and downs in my entrepreneurship, but I'm still convinced that it's been worthwhile. Also when working as a consultant and employee, my entrepreneurial drive has been a common thread.
Personal (and spiritual) development is an integral part of my life. A key element in that is to help others, both in my private life (including volunteering) and through my profession. The ambition in my professional life is therefore to always operate in environments where I can grow by supporting others, increasing my knowledge and accelerating my personal development. In a position where my work feels fulfilling I am confident that I, with a huge portion of structure, stamina and grit, can make individuals, teams and businesses grow as well. It is also important for me that sustainable development is incorporated as a natural part of the businesses I work with, hence my focus on the renewable energy industry.
