About
It's common knowledge that electricity prices fluctuate throughout the day. In each country, these fluctuations are determined by legislative decisions and climate conditions. There are periods when the market price of electricity approaches zero (in Europe, this ranges from 400 to 1,100 hours per year). This makes it possible to store inexpensive electricity for long periods of time. Currently, this is primarily achieved through the use of batteries, which are expensive, offer short-term energy storage, and their disposal (after use) is complex and harmful to the environment.
At the same time, a lot of energy is spent on cooling in the world - in technological processes and for storing various goods. In most cases, a temperature of +3-10 degrees Celsius is sufficient for this. This temperature can be provided by ice, which can be produced (using cheap energy on the market) in freezers using crystallizers developed by us. Crystallizers allow the production of fine ice, which is easy to accumulate and transport to consumers.
The cost of storage is $0.1-0.15/kWh of electricity, excluding the costs of control and energy management systems, which are individual in each case depending on the conditions of cold consumers.
In addition, we offer the accumulation of solar thermal energy and cold in the form of ice for further electricity production using the Organic Rankine Cycle (increasing efficiency compared to current levels by at least 3-5%).
Based on our research and calculations, energy-efficient projects were developed for various sectors of the economy. We are looking for specialized partners for joint participation in grant projects.
