IDEKO TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

We are a specialised technology centre focused on manufacturing technologies and industrial production. Our mission is to generate, capture and develop new technologies capable of addressing the current and future challenges faced by industry.

Our expertise in manufacturing technologies enables us to provide advanced solutions to enhance the production capabilities and competitiveness of our customers in sectors such as machine tools, railways, aerospace, capital goods, automotive and energy, among others.

Our activities range from research into manufacturing technologies and industrial production to the identification and analysis of opportunities, product design and technological development, the development of new business lines and production processes, and problem solving through technological services such as technical consultancy and equipment-based services.

Our technology and research centre is characterised by scientific excellence, supported by our four research groups, which are focused on strengthening our technological specialisation.

We have our own organisational model that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, while placing particular emphasis on the qualifications and professional development of our staff. We have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and strongly promote collaborative work through an extensive network of partnerships and connections with leading manufacturing research and technology organisations worldwide.

As a member of the BRTA (Basque Research Technology Alliance)—a consortium comprising the Basque Government, the SPRI Group, the Provincial Councils and 16 science and technology organisations belonging to the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI)—IDEKO works to transfer scientific and technological knowledge to companies, helping them strengthen their competitive position in the market.

The scientific excellence of our research lines, together with continuous investment in our process, ultra-precision metrology and advanced automation laboratories, reinforces our technological specialisation and expertise.

We have successfully advanced in a wide range of technologies applicable to industry, positioning both our manufacturing and industrial production processes at an outstanding level of technological maturity and performance.
