Our vision is to be the leading global solutions provider by using superior hard and wear-resistant metals and additive manufacturing technology. We contribute to the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.

The manufacturing industry is going through major changes. This includes the possibilities in replacing traditional subtracting methods (“machining”) by additive manufacturing (“AM”) – a true paradigm shift. A key factor for this transformation is the access to superior materials adapted to AM. VBN is the player in the world that has successfully developed hard and wear-resistant materials with unique processes for AM. Our brand Vibenite® is globally well-known as “the wear resistant AM materials group”.

A large part of today’s business for metal additive manufacturing is driven by a few industries, like the Aerospace and Medtech sectors. The VBN offer is an enabler for extending the use of AM in manufacturing industries outside these “early adopters”, to the broader scope of industries.
