SGV Forging in Skultuna AB

We specializes in hot forging of components made from aluminium, copper, and brass. With three advanced press lines, we offer an efficient and fully automated production process. Each press line heats a cut piece of material, which is then forged and cooled on a cooling table. After forging, the piece is trimmed and then it can be further processed through drilling, milling, and turning.

We also has two screw presses with capacities of 1,250 tons and 800 tons, which are operated manually. This enables us to handle both large and small production series, as well as a wide range of sizes for the components being manufactured.

SGV is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 which ensures that both quality and environmental considerations are integrated parts of the operations.

With extensive experience and expertise in machining we handle turning, drilling, and milling of both cut and forged blanks.
The production facility is tailored for large-scale series production, equipped with a machine park that combines transfer systems and turning operations.

We also have an in-house coating machine to ensure high quality and efficiency throughout the entire manufacturing chain.
