Ring and band elements

The elements are always made according to the customer's measurements and we can also make holes and notches in the elements, for e.g. temperature sensors.

There are two main types of elements:

MICANITE ELEMENT

In the element, a resistance strip wrapped around a micanite plate is used as resistance. The maximum power for this type of element is 4 W/cm2 and the maximum heat resistance is about 450°C.

CERAMIC ELEMENT

On the inner rim of the element there is a ceramic mat with a spiral made of resistance wire threaded inside the holes. The maximum power of the element is approx. 8 W/cm2 and the temperature resistance is 650°C.
