ADEME is a Public Agency under the cover of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Research. It has been involved in the combat against climate change and the degradation of resources for 30 years and is determined to move the yardsticks in order to build a more resource-efficient and inclusive society. ADEME is at the disposal of all stakeholders (State, businesses, local authorities, citizens) to accelerate the reduction of energy consumption, develop renewable energies and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Its staff is around 1 000 employees.
