I am the Project Manager of TRANSGEO, an Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE-funded project focusing on reuse of abandoned hydrocarbon wells for new geothermal development.
My organisation
The GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences is the national research centre for Earth sciences in Germany. Research at the GFZ focuses on the geosphere within the highly complex System Earth with its further subsystems, its interacting subcycles, and its wide network of cause-and-effect chains. This we do in a close interdisciplinary collaboration with the related scientific disciplines physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology as well as with the engineering sciences disciplines of rock mechanics, engineering hydrology and seismology.
About me
I am a Ph.D.-level climate scientist, environmental advocate, project manager, and fundraising professional with 30 years of experience in scientific project management and leadership, local to international relationship development, communications and outreach, paleo- and modern climate research, financial management, human resources, governmental program coordination, and data management.
