Sylvie Faÿ

After earning a PhD in Science with a focus on solar cells at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), I pursued advanced research in applied materials physics at the Institute of Microtechnology in Neuchâtel. In 2011, following a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Renewable Energies: Techniques and Applications, I joined the Services Industriels de Genève (SIG), leading the development and deployment of industrial-scale solar power plants on major rooftops across Geneva.

In 2015, still within SIG, I transitioned to the field of geothermal energy, contributing to its integration into Geneva’s evolving energy landscape. My work bridges scientific research and large-scale implementation, with a strong commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
