About me
I am an environmental and reservoir engineer. I completed my PhD and worked as a researcher for four years at TU Delft (NL), focusing on experimental and modeling work related to CO2 storage. Since 2022, I have been a medior researcher at TNO (Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research), where I have been actively involved in various projects, ranging from system integration in energy transition scenarios to reservoir modeling in CO2 storage and large-scale experiments. These experiments were conducted at the Rijswijk Center for Sustainable Geo-Energy (RCSG), a state-of-the-art facility located in Rijswijk (NL). In the past year, I have focused on projects related to geothermal energy, and the work we would like to present at the ECG2025 conference is the outcome of our most recent project. The RCSG center has been engaged in geothermal projects for over a decade, and our current efforts aim to innovate well sealing methods and optimize geothermal energy systems to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
