About me
Rory is professional Geoscientist with over 20 years technical and management experience in the energy sector. During that time he has developed expertise in the planning and management of exploration projects, deep drilling projects, and new country entries.
Rory combines a deep technical understanding of geothermal with a broad skillset in economic analysis, operations, and data acquisition programme design.
Proven in diverse leadership roles, Rory has considerable experience in strategy development, organisational management, regulatory matters, HSE, and stakeholder engagement.
Active in the geothermal sector in Ireland since 2021, Rory played a key role in starting the Irish National Geothermal Summit and in designing the National Geothermal Database for the Geological Survey Ireland. He currently serves as the Chariperson of the Geothermal Association of Ireland.
