My work is about the design, simulation and multi-objective optimization of systems that use geothermal energy.
My organisation
BRGM, the French geological survey, is France’s leading public institution for Earth Science applications for the management of surface and sub-surface resources with a view to sustainable development.
About me
My main topics of interest:
- Development of analytical and resistive-capacitive models of close-loop ground heat exchangers (geostructructures…), thermal response testing with uncertainty quantification and propapgation,
- Design and design of multi-component thermal energy systems, coupling ground heat exchangers, solar thermal, heat pumps, sorption chiller, etc.,
- Multi-objective optimization between competing objectives (cost, CO2-eq content, etc.)
Skills
- Energy Systems Modelling
- system optimization
- Shallow geothermal energy
