Geothermal heat for productive processes

We are based in geothermal areas in Tuscany (Italy) and our core business is to promote the local development of our territories. In this framework, we work to attract investments in direct uses of geothermal heat. There are 34 geothermal power plants in our territories and a large amount of heat at different temperatures that can be used in productive processes of the agri-food sector is available at particularly convenient prices. Some companies already use geothermal heat in green houses, dairies, cured meat production and breweries, whereas studies demonstrate that geothermal heat can reduce costs by more than 50% to produce microalgae such as Spirulina.
