About our participation
At the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, we have been designing and implementing short interdisciplinary courses over the past three years. These courses focus on science communication and crisis communication as key competencies for professionals engaging with evidence-based knowledge in healthcare and life sciences.
Our courses have addressed topics such as health and science reporting, digital health literacy, and public communication in crisis and health contexts. They have been tailored to the continuing education needs of academics and researchers, journalists, nurses, and healthcare management staff, all of whom play a critical role in advancing informed, trust-based communication in the field of personalised medicine.
These short courses represent a form of lifelong learning aimed at already trained professionals, complementing their existing expertise. They offer targeted upskilling and reskilling opportunities that respond to rapidly evolving demands in healthcare systems and science-society interfaces.
We are open to collaborations in the development and implementation of education courses under the EP PerMed Education Call 2025.
