Slovenian Hospice Association

Slovenian Hospice Society is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization that has been active in Slovenia for 30 years, supporting the terminally ill and their families, including beraved adults, adolescents and children, promoting volunteering, and breaking the taboo around death. With four interconnected programs and 12 regional offices, the Society improves access to hospice and grief support. Through national, cross-border and international projects, the Society strives to develop new knowledge and programs that enhance comprehensive care for the dying, the incurably ill, informal caregivers, the bereaved, and other vulnerable groups in different settings (rural, urban environment).
