European digital innovation hub in construction sector

The European Digital Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector is based in Sofia (Bulgaria) and it integrate expertise, networks and resources for offering tailor-made services in digitalization of the construction sector (industry organizations, educational institutions, leading companies in construction, innovation, project management, building materials and IT). The Hub is established by 11 leading organisations in the country representating the knowledge triagle, uniting the Bulgarian construction chamber, the Bulgarian chamber of architects, the two leading universities in the field of design and construction, one institute of the Bulgarian academy of science and leading private organisations working in the field of construction, digitalization and project management aiming at supporting the SMEs by providing them completely free of charge services. All the partners were motivated by the strategic role of the construction sector as an important integral part of the European economy focuses trends from different policy areas of the European Union: digital economy, energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainable construction, climate change, sustainable use of resources, demographic change, health and safety, jobs, education, training.
