EEN Funding Talks #1 EUDIS Defence Business Accelerator & DefTech Forges

The EEN Funding Talks is a webinar series organised within the EDF Partner Pool to support companies, research organisations, and innovation stakeholders in accessing European funding opportunities in the defence and dual-use sectors.

This session focuses on the EUDIS Accelerator and the for BraveTech EU – DefTech Forges, a new European defence innovation initiative powered by the EC, in collaboration with BRAVE1 and the EDA. Participants will gain insights into:

• The objectives and structure of the EUDIS Accelerator & DefTech Forges

• Eligibility criteria and target applicants

• The application process and key success factors

The webinar will feature programme representatives who will share practical guidance. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A.

The next Cohort of the EUDIS Defence Business Accelerator will select a total of start-ups and scale-ups to benefit from:

• Tailored coaching and training at a designated accelerator site.

• Five onsite bootcamps across different regions of Europe.

• Access to testing facilities.

• A 120,000€ seed funding voucher, awarded based on progress towards objectives set at the beginning of the programme.

• An additional reward voucher will be attributed to the top performing startups.

The call is open until 30 May, the programme expected to start in September 2026.

DefTech Forges is designed for European & Ukrainian startups , scale-ups and SMEs at TRL 4 or above that want to test, adapt and refine their technologies directly with military end-users in operational environments.
