Drone carried and remote operated firearms

At SAI we develop, and manufacture drone carried firearms intended to combat and reduce enemy equipment. Since the start of the Ukraine war SAI has as a private venture, been working with design and thoughts on the tactical use of armed drones, being air borne on ground or on water operated. We have been monitoring the rapid development in drone warfare very closely since the war started. Following this rapid development in both design and tactical usage of this equipment we are now able to offer special designed drone carried firearms.

The firearms are developed to TRL level 4-6, as of present.

We generally operate with two main categories of drone operated firearms:

1. Firearms for interceptor drones

2. Firearms for antimateriel drones

Ad. 1; Interceptor drones is armed drones used to reduce enemy kamikaze FPV or larger drones in the shape of small cruise missiles (Shahed/Lancet types)

Ad. 2; Firearms designed to reduce enemy materiel, supply trucks, soft technical installations. Larger calibres are intended to be used in traditional counter sniper tasks and to counter light armoured vehicles, ships and hard skin technical installations.

We strongly believe that the downing of enemy drones by small arms fire is the most effective and also cost reduced method to eliminate enemy drones. The armed interceptor drones are then ready to be used against more than one target on a mission. The use of readily available ammunition military and civilian grade helps mitigate ammunition shortages and reduces operational costs.

We have a high emphasis on very light firearm types because of battery and range capacity of the drone. Thus, the firearms we have been developing may not be fired by or near personnel as the standard firearm safety design features is disregarded and these special firearms may only be used on drones.
