Richard Dennis OBE

Richard completed over 30 years’ service in the British Army, leading soldiers at every level from platoon to brigade from Antarctica to Afghanistan. The last 10 years of his service saw him focused on strategic change programmes: working with complex organisations which were no longer fit for purpose and helping them – and the people within them - to better meet the demands of a changing world.

He has over 14 years’ experience as a NED, Chair and board advisor in sectors including cyber, engineering and critical national infrastructure and recently completed 3 years as interim COO to a strategic UK Government supplier. He is currently both an NED and head of the Defence account for a cyber consultancy which serves clients across multiple, mission critical sectors of the UK supply chain.

 He holds an MBA, is a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies, a member of the Defence Strategic Leadership Programme at Cranfield University, a visiting lecturer at the University of Huddersfield Business School and a Henley Business School qualified executive coach.
