Competa IT BV

Competa IT is an established Dutch software company developing a proprietary software intelligence and decision-support platform for crypto-agility and post-quantum migration.

The platform analyses software repositories to identify cryptographic assets, dependencies, hardcoded algorithms, key-handling patterns and other sources of migration exposure. It then converts this technical evidence into a structured cryptographic inventory, a human-review workflow and practical guidance for prioritising and planning the transition to quantum-safe cryptography.

The product is being developed through a project supported by the Dutch Cybersecurity Innovation Fund, CIF-NL, and is currently being validated using public-sector software repositories. The initial focus is on helping organisations take the difficult first step in PQC migration: understanding where cryptography is used, which findings require human review, and what changes may be needed at code, application and portfolio level.

Competa IT combines this product development with an established software-engineering business, an experienced technical team and existing relationships with enterprise and public-sector organisations. This provides both a route to market and the ability to continue developing the platform without dependence on high external cash burn.
