Cyber Bastion – Cyber Strategy Simulation

CyberBastion is a structured simulation exercise in which participants work in teams to design and execute incident prevention and response strategies under realistic conditions. Two scenarios, both based on real cyber incidents, will be played during the session. Each requires decisions on allocating a limited security budget across organisational, procedural, and technical measures.

The session aims to:

• Illustrate interdependencies within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

• Compare the effectiveness of different prevention and response approaches.

• Foster information exchange between technical and non-technical decision-makers.

• Analyse the impact of investment strategies on organisational resilience.

• The exercise is suitable for both technical and management-level participants and concludes with a discussion of results and lessons learned.
