Workshop – Navigating Malware-Free Attacks

Our recent research of over 700,000 security incidents uncovered a significant paradigm shift: almost all (an alarming 84%) of major attacks now incorporate Living Off The Land (LOTL) techniques. This represents a fundamental change in adversary playbooks, where traditional malware is abandoned for stealthier methods leveraging legitimate tools and human vulnerabilities.In this interactive workshop we will share key highlights and unexpected discoveries from this research. Next, we will disseminate a recent real-world ransomware investigation, dissecting how these malware-free techniques work to compromise organizations.Through collaborative discussion, CISOs will identify current detection and prevention blind spots and develop actionable approaches to build more resilient defenses against these pervasive, high-impact threats.
