About me
With a telecom engineering background from IMT Atlantique and Eurecom in France, Francois has held various positions in Orange, from pre-sales for B2B major accounts to early deployment of innovative services and ensuring their security. As Chief Security Officer and CISO for the Europe division of Orange, Francois is in charge of multi-country security governance and of programs that integrate security in Sales, Business Intelligence, IT and Network (ITN) transformations in the division driven by cloud technologies and AI. To anticipate the security requirement on architecture design and on operations and maintenance models, Francois contributes to standardization and certification works in the context of EU regulation.
Francois is member of various France-based professional clubs promoting risk management best practice such as the EBIOS Club, the CESIN, AFNOR. For the latter, he sits as France National Standardization Commission mirroring the joint ISO/IEC Sub-Committee 27 and CEN CENELEC JTC 13 for the standardization of Cybersecurity, Information Security, Data protection and Privacy. Member of a local association in France to protect the rights of consumers of digital services, Francois is also general secretary of the newly created France-based Agency for Digital Sovereignty, and provides lectures at University of Limoges, Telcom ParisTech, University of Paris-Est Créteil.
