About

Born from the growing need to bring together the academic, research, and technology communities in response to increasingly complex cyber threats, ECC-RIE is a community of experts, practitioners, and leaders who believe that Europe’s digital security begins with collaboration and shared trust.

Through ECC-RIE, members gain access to shared tools and knowledge developed within the SOCCER project, including the SOC4Academia Toolbox and DFIR Guide. The community provides opportunities for exchange between institutions, joint development of recommendations and research initiatives, and cooperation with key European organisations such as the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).

Membership in ECC-RIE is voluntary and free of charge. It is open to universities, research and technology organisations, education institutions, and innovation centres across the European Union.

ECC-RIE is an important milestone that strengthens Poland’s role as an active contributor to Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem. It also highlights how initiatives developed within the SOCCER project translate into real, sustainable cooperation and knowledge exchange across borders.

ECC-RIE remains an open initiative – we welcome all institutions interested in building a safer digital environment for research, innovation, and education to join us.
