South Holland is a province in the west of the Netherlands on the North Sea coast. Its capital is The Hague, and its largest city is Rotterdam. South Holland is one of the most densely populated and industrialized areas in the world. The province covers 3,308 km² and has a population of 3,804,737, making it the most densely populated and most populous province in the Netherlands.
Together, every South Hollander makes the province. As an organization, we address issues that are too big for the 50 municipalities of South Holland and too small for the national government.
