MULTITEL

MULTITEL is an applied Research Centre in digital transformation with a special focus on artificial intelligence, signal processing on embedded systems, image processing and computer network management technologies. Its main activities are development and implementation of innovative projects in collaboration with local and international companies. With direct relation of Physical Internet objectives, Multitel was involved in several national and European projects promoting the development of synchro-modal, eco-friendly and efficient circular supply chains, fostering circular economy stakeholders to work together gathering several waste collection channels in European urban areas, combining the goods entering cities and the waste leaving them.

Multitel was involved in several national and European projects promoting the development of synchromodal, eco-friendly and efficient logistics, thanks to a better synchronisation between the various actors of the logistic chain through active participation and coordination for some of them. We can mention in particular Interreg NWE ST4W and H2020 IW-Net on Inland Waterway Transport, and Walloon project City Line on sustainable Urban Logistics
