Les Petits Riens is one of Belgium’s leading social enterprises active in the collection, sorting, reuse and valorisation of second-hand goods, with a strong focus on textiles. For nearly 90 years, we have combined environmental and social impact by collecting unwanted items, extending their lifespan through reuse, and creating employment opportunities for people facing barriers to the labour market. Every year, we collect and process more than 8000 tonnes of textiles through our network of collection points, sorting centres and second-hand shops. Beyond reuse, we are developing innovative circular solutions to improve textile valorisation, including partnerships around recycling, material recovery, circular design and new business models. We collaborate with companies, researchers, public organisations and circular economy actors to transform post-consumer textiles into valuable resources and accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable textile ecosystem.

About me

I am a circular economy and textile innovation professional with more than 20 years of international experience in the fashion and textile industry. At Les Petits Riens, I develop B2B partnerships that maximise the value of post-consumer textiles through reuse, recycling and circular business models.

My expertise combines business development, eco-design, textile valorisation and innovation. I enjoy bringing together companies, public organisations and technology providers to develop practical circular solutions.

I am particularly interested in textile-to-textile recycling, circular product design and collaborative innovation projects funded at Belgian and European level.
