Participants

Circular Economy Portugal is a non-profit focus on accelerating the circular economy transition in Portugal, focused on driving reuse and repair practices.

My organisation

Circular Economy Portugal (CEP) drives the transition to a circular economy in Portugal by sharing knowledge and developing practical projects focused on waste prevention, reuse, and repair. Rooted in social innovation and collaborative action, all our initiatives aim to turn circular principles into real-world practice. We support and inspire both public and private entities in adopting sustainable solutions that reduce waste and create lasting value—for communities, the economy, and the environment. Through this work, CEP contributes to building a zero-waste society grounded in equity and resilience.

About me

I’m passionate about using business as a force for good, driving sustainability and positive environmental and social impact. I believe companies positioned for a just, circular, and sustainable world will be the ones that thrive. With 15+ years of business experience across Europe, the US, and Brazil, I specialize in building sustainability strategies, scaling partnerships, and driving commercial growth while embedding purpose into core operations. I’ve led cross-functional teams across industries—from waste innovation to premium spirits and consumer goods. Advancing circular economy solutions, sustainable packaging, and repair practices is my focus. As a collaborative and results-oriented intrapreneur, I like to turn big ideas into tangible impact, and have helped organizations and startups align purpose and profit to build a more sustainable future.

More recently I moved back to my home country, Portugal, and have been leading an NGO that will be turning 10 years in 2027 and has been working with different stakeholders to drive reuse and repair mainstream.
