My organisation

BUILDERS Ecole d'ingénieurs is a Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest created in 1993. The school has been recognised by the State since 26 July 2001 and regularly enters into multi-year contracts with the State and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Its engineering diplomas and bachelor's degrees are accredited by the Commission de titre ingénieus. The research activity of the BUILDERS Lab Research Unit (RU) focuses on construction materials and has the following objectives: i) training through research for engineering students, PhD students, post-doctoral students and trainees hosted within the Research Unit and ii) the production of new theoretical and practical knowledge for companies, partner institutions, engineering students and the scientific community. The research activity of the Research Unit is centred on two main scops: « Materials with low environmental impact in their environment and Thermal and energy systems for buildings and systems.

About me

I am Nassim Sebaibi, Pr., Ph.D., Engineer in Civil Engineering, and I serve as the Head of the Research Unit at BUILDERS Engineering School. I hold an HDR (habilitation to supervise research), a Doctorate, and a degree in Civil Engineering. My research focuses on low environmental impact construction materials for road, building, and maritime infrastructures. I have contributed to the drafting and realization of patents as part of my academic and industrial research work.

I possess industrial experience in the precast concrete industry, where I was responsible for the development and quality control of new prefabricated construction products. Additionally, I have participated in the development, reflection, and implementation of several national and international projects related to emerging materials, low CO2 emissions, and circular economy themes for the Civil Engineering sector.
