Impact spun out of BP Chemicals in 2002, initially carrying out container testing and hydrostatic pipe testing. Over the years, our capabilities have expanded to included a full range of mechanical and analytical test capabilities. Material testing for R&D projects became more frequent and Impact Innovations was established - focusing on sustainable technologies, with extensive piloting and process development facilities built. Since 2020, we have been working on identifying opportunities for solving a local issue with global applications. Scotland is a hub for new ideas and our we are grateful to have the opportunity to tap into world-class research being developed on our doorstep.
