The final pitching session brings together hackathon teams participating in the IDEA Track (Creative Readiness Levels 1–3) and PROTOTYPE Track (CRL 4–6) to present their creative concepts and development results to an international jury. Each team will have 5 minutes for presentation onsite or online, with following 3 minutes for Jury questions.

Teams will showcase how their initial inspirations, creative challenges or early-stage ideas have evolved through collaboration, mentoring and hackathon activities.

Each presentation should communicate:

  • Challenge & Creative Concept: The problem, opportunity or creative challenge addressed and the proposed solution.

  • Reimagining Heroism: How the concept explores contemporary heroism, creativity, inclusion or positive societal change.

  • Sustainability: The project's environmental, social, cultural or economic sustainability contribution.

  • Digital Innovation: The use or potential integration of digital technologies, tools or creative methods.

  • Development Results: Sketches, mood boards, visualisations, designs or other materials demonstrating progress towards a defined concept.

  • Future Development: The project's feasibility, potential impact and next steps towards prototyping.

An international multidisciplinary jury will evaluate the presented projects, considering creativity, innovation, sustainability, feasibility, team collaboration and potential for further development.

The session forms part of the CREASheroes selection process, offering outstanding IDEA Track teams the opportunity to progress towards international creative residencies in Finland and Spain.

The session also provides an opportunity for participants to receive expert feedback, exchange ideas and present their creative visions to the wider festival community.

From imagination to innovation — discover the next generation of creative ideas!
