SILA

SILA develops AI-assisted tools and facilitation methods that help organisations turn complex sustainability knowledge into concrete decisions and action.

We work at the intersection of sustainability, circular economy, strategic innovation and AI. Our focus is not on automating judgement, but on making high-quality knowledge more usable in real decision-making contexts: workshops, strategy processes, innovation projects and implementation with companies and public organisations.

SILA combines AI-supported analysis and decision tools with facilitated methods for circular business model innovation, impact strategy and transition processes. We develop and test these approaches together with companies, researchers, cities and other practitioners in real-world settings.

A key area of interest is how knowledge generated through research can be translated more quickly into practical interventions, while insights from those interventions can flow back into research, policy and ecosystem-level decision making.

For the DUT Call 2026, we are particularly interested in Circular Urban Economies and collaborations around circular production, business model innovation, SMEs, urban ecosystems and city-business collaboration. We can contribute as a technology, methodology and implementation partner, helping develop and test AI-assisted approaches with companies and other stakeholders in living-lab environments.
