HATAY METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY

Hatay Metropolitan Municipality is the primary local government authority serving the Hatay province in Türkiye. In the wake of the recent earthquakes, our municipality is deeply committed to the resilient, sustainable, and green reconstruction of our city.

Through our Foreign Relations Department, we actively develop and implement international projects focused on sustainable urban infrastructure, circular economy ecosystems (including the extensive environmental rehabilitation of local water resources), and smart city transitions.

As part of our strategic recovery vision, we are dedicated to implementing '15-Minute City' principles. Our current priorities include developing smart active mobility frameworks, micro-mobility networks, and sustainable urban planning solutions. We are actively seeking to join strong European consortiums and build partnerships with tech providers, research institutions, and fellow municipalities to co-create innovative infrastructure solutions for a resilient future.
