Energieinstitut Vorarlberg

EIV offers as a non-profit regional energy agency service to support and develop sustainable energy systems. Its main purpose is to promote sensible and efficient energy consumption by using RES sources, which includes environment-friendly building. We have broad experience in defining criteria for sustainable buildings and creating certification systems. The communal building pass is working as funding system for public buildings in Vorarlberg since 2011. We provide expertise in managing communities and regions to get involved in energy efficiency, climate protection and climate adaptation, so with the e5 regions there is a good regional policy addressing capacity.
