Seeking Partners Health, Wellbeing and Neighbourhood Experience
Projectdeveloper at Middelfart Kommune
Middelfart, Denmark
About
We offer a unique opportunity to contribute with multiple real-life test environments within one municipality:
-
Trådværket: a transforming industrial waterfront district and future mixed-use neighbourhood.
-
Holmegaard/Fynske Farm: a rural and nature-based setting focused on community, biodiversity and regenerative development.
-
Kystparken: a coastal climate adaptation and biodiversity project connecting nature, recreation and wellbeing.
Together, these sites provide opportunities to explore how different neighbourhood typologies influence health, wellbeing, social inclusion, place attachment and quality of life.
Middelfart has extensive experience in citizen engagement, co-creation, placemaking and living lab approaches and can support data collection, stakeholder involvement and implementation activities.
We are particularly interested in collaborating with universities, research institutes, public authorities and organisations working within health, social sciences, urban planning, landscape architecture, behavioural studies and citizen science.
We can contribute as a case study municipality, living lab partner and demonstration site for research and innovation activities.
