DOC Servizi Soc. Coop. is Italy’s largest cooperative platform in the cultural and creative industries (CCI), with over 30 years of experience supporting professionals in performing arts, digital media, education, and cultural innovation. Founded in 1990, it operates as a worker cooperative with 8,000+ members, 600 employees, and 32 branches across Italy, as well as offices in Europe.
DOC provides a comprehensive legal, administrative, and welfare infrastructure that transforms freelance and creative labor into protected employment. Its cooperative model addresses structural vulnerabilities in the CCI and fosters fair, inclusive, and sustainable work conditions.
Scope of work: DOC supports professionals across the full creative value chain, from conception to production and dissemination. Areas of activity include music, theatre, audiovisuals, digital arts, multimedia, event production, non-formal education, and emerging sectors like drone-based content creation, comics & animation, and AI-enhanced creative processes.
