About

Hotel Observatorio / Domos Sustainable Lab is a vendor-neutral, open-protocol hospitality blueprint that turns a boutique eco-property into a living lab for circular tourism. Guests run “the whole hotel in your phone” (PWA): book, check-in, open doors, chat with an AI concierge, borrow bikes, refill containers, and track their stay’s positive impact. Behind the scenes, an energy- and water-intelligent system orchestrates AC, lights, jacuzzis and saunas, solar + storage, rain/greywater reuse, and EV charging—while circular operations (deposit-return, compost, repair) and biodiversity actions (native fruit trees, pollinator gardens, bee biospheres) generate measurable community and environmental benefits.

Observatorio Domos Bosque Tropical SRL (PIC: 869765924, Costa Rica) in the context of EU-funded initiatives (2025–2027) related to climate action, regenerative tourism, circular economy, and rural resilience.

CUE‑LAB pilots resident‑first, circular tourism across three EU cities, with a Costa Rican cooperation site (Domos Sustainable Lab) validating low‑cost replication in small destinations. The project integrates policy tools for affordability and equitable benefits; circular operations (returnables, sorting, repair); slow mobility (bike loops, timeslot caps, GBFS/MDS data); nature & water modules (constructed wetlands, fruit‑tree corridors, pollinator habitats); and an AI‑enabled digital layer (PWA, omnichannel concierge, open APIs).

A green hospitality and wellness hub (eco-architecture, circular water/energy systems).

An international education & innovation space hosting students, policymakers, and women experts.

Pilot projects for climate action, biodiversity, and sustainable rural development in Costa Rica and across the SICA region..

Looking for:

EU universities and research institutes coordinating Mission Soil projects.

Partners needing a replication/demonstration site in Latin America.

Collaborations on FSTP cascades and community engagement models.
