As a city, we are working on accessible, affordable, and environmentally friendly means of transportation for everyone. Since 2008, our city has been designed according to a unique urban development plan, which is rare in the world. This design includes wide, long roads and plenty of green spaces. Diyarbakır is a flat city, highly suitable for bicycle use. In addition, we also have an ongoing tramway project.
